House rules

Hand sizeHow many cards each player starts with. Auto deals seven with two or three players and five from four up, so there's always a decent ocean left to fish in.

A hit lets you ask againOne ask per turn

The standard rule: land a card and the turn stays with you, so a good read can run the table. Turn it off to keep turns short and moving.

Fishing your wish earns another turnGo Fish always ends your turn

If the card you pull out of the ocean is the very rank you just asked for, you go again.

Refill an empty hand from the oceanAn empty hand sits out

Run out of cards while the ocean still has some and you draw back in. With this off, a player who empties their hand is done for the rest of the game.
