House rules

Starting stackChips every seat starts with. Nobody rebuys — when a stack hits zero, that seat is out for the rest of the match.

Small blindThe small blind — the big blind is always double it, and the fixed bet increment matches the big blind before the flop and doubles on the turn. One number sets the whole betting scale.

Only a contested hand is shownAlways show every hand

Whose cards get shown once a hand ends. Contested is how the game is really played — you only show if somebody paid to see it, which is what makes bluffing real. Always is the friendly-table variant.

House playersThe house fills these seats and plays its own turns — no phones needed. House players only join live online tables, and a round with them at it doesn't count toward anyone's lifetime records.

Short a seat? The house sends players like Miss Ruby or Cousin Earl. Their rounds don't count toward records.
